getIT organizes two major events every year, the getIT on the Green golf outing and the Tyler Tech Expo where local, state and national businesses come together to educate themselves about the latest products and software.

I did all of the print pieces for both events including flyers, banners, postcards, and programs. I also wrote and distributed a press release for the expo.

I also organized, designed, and led four of the 12 workshops conducted at getIT’s Tyler Tech Expo as the director of marketing for PersonalWeb. I had complete design and editorial freedom over the presentations, which successfully covered social media for growing businesses and totaled about 5 hours.

The sessions included "Social Media 101," "3 Steps to the Perfect Facebook," "Blogging: Twitter, Tumblr and Wordpress," and "Beyond Facebook and Twitter: Google+, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram." Attendees were East Texas business owners.
